Do one rep of 20–60 meters (depending on fitness), then jog back to the start line, immediately perform a stride (at 85–90 percent maximum speed) for the same distance, then walk back to the start line.
HIGH SKIPPING
When you skip this time, go for height and don’t worry about how far forward each skip takes you. Spring high off your toes, then land on the same foot before stepping forward into your next high skip.
Do one rep of 20–60 meters. Jog back. Stride. Walk back.
LONG SKIPPING (plyometric drill)
Skip again, this time going for distance, not height. Take off on one foot, land on the same foot, then just step into the next skip (i.e., you spring far during the skip, not so far when you’re switching feet).
